about the issuesMaking Workplaces Fairer Despite many improvements in women's economic status over the past three decades, employment discrimination and unfairness in the workplace are still a fact of life for too many women. Women Employed is committed to ensuring equal employment opportunity and fair workplaces for all. To achieve these goals, Women Employed gathers information from women and translates the issues into practical proposals for change. We conduct research and public education, engage employers, organize individuals, advocate with public officials, and work in coalition with other organizations. For more information on Women Employed's efforts to ensure fair workplaces, please see Initiatives. To make sure your voice is heard on issues that promote fairer workplaces for women join Women Employed's Action Network.
